This may not be Geoffs most flattering side... however, it does show his eagerness to promote the local groups..... or was he just keen to have more blokes at the Trivia Social on Friday night.

Trivial Friday Night Social
You are invited to a night of curry and fire, combined with nibbles and trivia.Date: Friday 2 September 2005
Time: 7.00 pm start about 7.30.-7.45.

Drinks - bring along what you drink i.e. wine,beer,

nuts, chocolate, sweetie things
as the evening is really about having fun
playing TrivialPursuits.
Gaming - Mixed teams made up when everyone arrives

Springwood group
The Local Mens Network of Springwood met at the neighbourhood centre and enjoyed a rousing round of stories. We spent the evening regaled by tales of shared running shoes, of holidays with dogs, of fiery rings and the keys to all manner of mysteries that men can share when they gather together in friendship.This photo shows comrade Geoff whipping the chaps into formation for a lineup photo.

Next gathering 23 August
The next gathering of the Local Men's Network - Springwood will be on Tuesday, 23 August 2005 at the Springwood Neighbourhood Centre. Looking foward to gathering there for discussion and planning of the groups activities.

Campfire Chat
The Local Men's Network Springwood held its first social function, a campfire chat in chilly Hawkesbury Heights. Warmed in the glow of a roaring fire and sustained on Argentinian bbq chicken, garlic bread and curry puffs, we enjoyed some lively discussion and social contact.Professor John McDonald and Michael Woods, from the UWS Mens Health Information and Resource Centre joined us during the night and shared information in informal discussion whilst enjoying the open and friendly environment building within the Local Men's Network.
